Not at all. We work with complete beginners through to advanced speakers. During your free consultation, we’ll assess your level and match you with a tutor who suits you perfectly.
Lessons are 1:1, online, and conversation-based. Rather than following a rigid syllabus, sessions are shaped around your goals, interests, and chosen learning package - helping you use French naturally from day one.
All our tutors are experienced, native French speakers who specialise in teaching adults. They’re friendly, supportive, and focused on helping you build confidence - not correcting every mistake.
For rapid progress we recommend 2hrs per week. For slower progress or maintenance 1hr per week is recommended. Our intensive French courses are completely bespoke but tend to be around 12hrs of French tuition per week with specific goals and outcomes.
We find that consistency is key when learning French so we do recommend you try to stick to the same slot for your French lesson each week. We require at least 24hrs notice if you need to cancel a lesson.
No. We offer pay-as-you-go options, so there’s no need for large upfront payments. You only pay for the lessons you book.
That’s completely normal and very common. Our lessons are relaxed, informal, and supportive. There’s no pressure to be perfect; the focus is on building confidence through conversation.
All lessons take place online. You’ll just need a stable internet connection, a device with a camera and microphone, and somewhere comfortable to chat.
